Phoenix, Arizona – Monday, August 28, 2006, The Network of enlightened Women will launch their inaugural year at ASU by hosting Cathi Herrod, Interim President and Director of Policy for The Center for Arizona Policy, in the Thoren Room at The University Club.

The Network of enlightened Women is a group primarily dedicated to fostering the education and leadership of conservative university women. NeW is devoted to promoting conservative ideals and reclaiming the voice representing women.

“As a senior at ASU, I have witnessed feminism fail the modern woman. Misconceptions about meaning and fulfillment in life have infiltrated and deceived the intellect of women. Now is the time for conservative women to stand up and make their voice heard. University women need to shed the shackles of feminism, and re-NeW their vision!”
Annemarie Smith, President of NeW, ASU Chapter
